Research Prize
The Swiss Heart Foundation regularly awards a Research Prize Cardiology and Research Prize Stroke, each worth 20’000 Swiss Francs, for outstanding publications and accepted manuscripts of scientific research in the field of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular and neurovascular diseases.
Research Prize
The Swiss Heart Foundation awards an annual Research Prize Cardiology in cardiovascular medicine and a two-yearly Research Prize Stroke in neurovascular medicine for established investigators.
Application and Deadline
- Deadline for submissions for the Research Prize Cardiology is 31 August on swissheart.ccgranttracker.com.
- Deadline for submissions for the Research Prize Stroke is 31 August in even years. Further information can be found on swissheart.ccgranttracker.com.
- The application must be submitted in English.
Eligibility
- The age limit is 45 years at time of application. Exceptions can be made in case of motherhood or illness.
- Swiss researchers working in Switzerland or abroad as well as foreign researchers working in Switzerland are entitled to participate.
- No one shall be eligible to receive the prize, or part of the prize, more than once.
Grant
- Award for the entire scientific work of the applicant is in the amount of 20’000 Swiss Francs.
- The most important publications will be primarily considered.
